All eyes on AP legislative council

 

Now all the eyes were on the legislative council, which will take up two continuous bills on Tuesday.

The government is very clear that it can pass the two bills that were introduced in the AP assembly on 20 January. The government has the majority to pass the two bills. The government has 151 seats out of 175 seats. But now the bill is difficult to pass in the Legislative council. The ruling party has only 9 seats and the TDP has 28 seats.

The TDP MLC Dokka Manikya Vara prasad resigns to his post, he sent his resignation letter to Chandrababu Naidu. He also stated in the letter that he would contest in the elections in future. He thanked all the people who supported him. He also thanked Chandrababu Naidu for giving him a seat to contest from TDP party.
