Indian women beat West Indies women by seven wickets in the third T20I at the Providence Stadium in Guyana to take an unassailable 3-0 lead in the ongoing five-match series between the two sides.
For the first time in this T20I series, India lost their openers early as Shafali Verma fell for a duck and Smriti Mandhana got out for 3, with both falling to Matthews.
It was slow going but Rodrigues did not lose her patience even as she watched skipper Harmanpreet Kaur dismissed for a 19-ball 7, which ended a 25-run partnership.
Rodrigues who scored most of the runs in the chase as she helped India, having scored four of the five boundaries in India’s innings.
