India has reported its first Coronavirus case, a student from Wuhan University, who came to India recently, detected in Trissur district Kerala. The patient tested positive, the patient is stable and being monitored.

The Indian government has already set up a control room. Kerala health minister said 20 samples were sent for tests out of which one was found positive. The minister also said the patient who returned from China is now kept in isolation at the general hospital in Kerala. Coronavirus started in Wuhan, China in last December 2019. Till now it has claimed 170 lives. 38 deaths registered on Thursday in China. Most of the recent deaths occurred in Hubei province. Another 1737 cases registered on Thursday in China. Thailand has reported 14 cases, Japan has 11, Hong Kong and Singapore have 10, Taiwan has eight, India, Sri Lanka and Finland have one.
