 India won the ODI series against Australia, after a few days they were off to New Zealand and now they must focus on T20 format. Team India tour kicks off with 5T20I, which is followed by three ODIs and two tests.

India last time played T20 series in New Zealand in 2019, Ambati Rayudu was the leading run-scorer with190 runs and next Shikhar Dhawan with 188 runs, unfortunately, both are missing this time. 

 

KL Rahul is the newfound confidence to the team, he is playing a dual role as batsman and keeper. According to Captain, Rahul will continue wicket keeping in both T20Is and ODIs but will open in T20I and middle-order in ODIs. 

 

Rishab Pant could lose his spot in playing eleven. Manish Pandey is expected to play as a fifth specialist batsman.

                     KL Rahul needs 63 runs to cross 1300 runs
