Atal Ji’s vision continues to inspire the nation. The scheme will ensure that water reaches every household. Can’t deny that we are facing a water crisis. Entire nation needs to come together to tackle the crisis. Need nationwide participation to deal with the water crisis. Water-related issues have been ignored for years. Needs a holistic approach to deal with water-related issues. Agricultural and Industrial growth dependent on water. Atal Yojana a step towards development. Scheme to benefit areas with low-level groundwater. Areas that were flooded 20 years back, now face scarcity. I come from a state that faces water scarcity. 7 states, 78 zillas, 8300 villages to benefit from the scheme. Need programmes to create awareness about the water crisis. Inclusion of women in awareness programmes is crucial. Need to stress on conserve water. Invite startups to participate in water conservation plans. Need judicial use of water in agriculture. Need every farmer to be a part of the conservation programme. Need to shift towards micro-irrigation. Every drop of water counts today. There is a need for a water budget. Every step you take will make a difference. Citizens to play the most important role in Atal Jal Yojna. Only 3 crore households have tap water. Rs 3 lakh crores to be spent for clean drinking water. Make ensure that this mission is successful. We have no right to wastewater. Must follow guidelines of Jal Jeevan Mission. It is our duty to work towards water conservation. Every village to have its own conservation scheme. Need to make all our villages self-reliant. We will use the latest technology to conserve water.
