Lendl Simmons stole the show with an unbeaten 67 as Windies registered an 8-wicket win in Thiruvananthapuram. Evin Lewis (40) and Nicholas Pooran (38*) provided excellent support as Windies chased down the target with 9 balls to spare. Earlier, Shivam Dube (54) and Rishabh Pant (33*) helped India post 170/7. Windies have levelled the series in Trivandrum and both teams head to Mumbai for the decider on Wednesday.

Indian bowlers failed to execute their plans but fielders’ poor day in the field didn’t help their cause either. Simmons and Lewis both were dropped in Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s single over and from there on it was always one-way traffic as they put on a huge first-wicket stand.
